We produce research, analysis, and strategy, helping to shape a project with large scale objectives and fine details.
With relatively low investment, clients can move forwards armed with creative ideas, options, practical facts, costs, advocacy, research insights, and a big idea to tie it all together.
At St Thomas’ Hospital ED project, we conducted a “psychological study” and an “art strategy” to bring together information, art, and wayfinding into one design solution aimed at helping people feel “looked after” throughout their journey. This went on to form the bedrock of a project that won multiple awards and helped set a new benchmark for ED design, helping to “reduce violence and aggression in ED”.
We conduct fundraising on behalf of our clients, raising upto 7-figure sums to entirely fund (or add to) an art & wayfinding budget.
Our approach is characterised by a humanistic appeal, emphasising the social need for art – how it will support the clinical mission, the needs of users, the evidence of impact on service delivery & culture, and the practical & emotional benefits it will bring.
Our approach includes:
Funding scope: scoping the “market potential” to engage potential funders and arrive at a fundraising target and strategy.
Funding materials: develop a brochure of visualised concepts, and written submissions with costings.
Advocacy & storytelling: we work with users and stakeholders to gather evidence and advocacy to support our appeal, in the form of quotes, data, videos, and written letters.
Delivery: working with the client partners, or in-house, we take our materials out to funders, helping to deliver fundraising campaigns that typically last 3 months – year.
