Back in 2009, Art in Site was commissioned to work on the newly refurbished Rays of Sunshine Ward, which helps King’s provide lifesaving liver transplants to young patients.

The refurbishment was made possible thanks to the fundraising efforts of patients, relatives, friends and the local community.

King’s College Hospital is one of the foremost paediatric liver transplantation centres in the world, performing more than 60 transplants on children and treating over 3,000 young patients every year.
